We went on a hunt for minibeasts around the school today. We used lots of scientific equipment to help us identify the creepy crawlies.
We really enjoyed it and had fun in the sunshine!
We had a wonderful day meeting all of the animals. The playground was great fun too!
We had a wonderful time preparing for our Green Flag ceremony. Our class dressed up as flowers and sang songs in the Gairdín Glas. 
We have been learning all about the farm in our Gaeilge lessons. We have used it as an opportunity to link it with our Aistear.

We had a scientist visit our class last week. We carried out lots of experiments. We mixed colours and saw how a raisin reacted to gas. We got use beakers and pipettes. It is clear that some 7A kids will be scientists someday – they loved it! We also used the visit as an opportunity to write a report, the children did some excellent work.

We had great fun in the sun drawing our shadows during our Science lesson.
We had a great time making different shapes for our partners to draw. 
Elaine came to visit us. She presented us with our certificates after we finished the Mighty Mouth Programme. We got to show off our brushing skills and sing our Winning Smile Rap.

We have been meditating in 7A. It is Catholic Schools week and this form of prayer gives us a chance to be close to God in stillness and in quietness. We have really enjoyed our meditations.
Our Friendship fortnight
We are all great pals in 7A. We talked about how we make friends and we made our own friend called Freddy.
We sequenced the story of the ‘Three Little Pigs.’ We made masks and painted our own houses in art.
There was lots of huffing and puffing in our drama lesson!
We had great fun in 7A preparing for our performance of The Nativity. The children gave a wonderful performance!
