Today we held a special event in our school. We invited all our grandparents to join us in the school. We went to the Rainbow Room and settled in by singing a few songs and saying a poem.

The grandparents shared their memories with us, telling us stories from when they were younger. Some of them had a happy time at school and others didn’t have that much fun! They all agreed though that things are very different now.

They showed us photographs and even some old toys and a blazer belonging to a past pupil of this school. It was approximately 50 years old!   We really enjoyed the experience and want to thank the

parents and grandparents for coming.

We hope you had as much fun as we did and we hope that you enjoyed the tea and cakes!

We put on a fantastic show at Christmas called ‘The Little Match Girl’. We managed to raise 200 euro for charity.

We donated 100 euro to St. Vincent de Paul and 100 euro to the Wexford Women’s Refuge.

They were both very grateful for our donations and sent us letters to thank us.
