The date for our school tour is 4th June 2010.

We are going to the Playbarn in Nass, where Quizone is filmed, and then “The Titanic Exhibition” in Citywest. The Cost of our school tour is €25. We will be leaving the school at 8.20am sharp and returning at 4.30approx. €5 spending money is allowed.

All girls must wear their summer uniform or tracksuit.

What I need to bring: Snack , Packed lunch, Drinks (as it is our tour treats are alowed) 🙂

MP3 players, ipods, cameras, phones, Nintendo DS etc.  are NOT allowed.

We are all looking forward to a funfilled day.

NPC. AGM

Today we had visitors in our class from Sustainable Energy Ireland.

We learned about energy efficiency and environmental awareness.

We met Guzzler. Guzzler was a hairy and green alien from Mars.

He was an energy guzzler!  

We told Guzzler how he can save energy.

We did lots of activities and experiments.

It was so much fun.

This week we are very busy in our class. We are putting the finishing touches to our art work for our special day. We were in Rowe Street Church today for our first practice.

For the last few months we have been busy learning our songs, mass responses and our prayers.

Our First Holy Communion is taking place on Sunday 23rd May 2010 @ 11am. We are very excited and we are looking forward to our special day.

Weather permitting we hope to hold our annual “Sports Days” on Tuesday May 25th for junior classes(infants and first) and Wednesday May 26th for the senior classes. If the weather is unsuitable we will rearrange for the earliest dry day possible. We will keep all families informed by text of any changes.

It’s that time of year again and all of us in the choir are really singing our hearts out in preparation for the AIMS Choral Fesitival in New Ross next week! The Choral Festival is taking place on Friday week (May 21st), we’ll keep you all posted to let you know how it goes! 🙂
